The Eagles are looking to defend their Super Bowl, but the offense has been extremely streaky, hurting Philadelphia’s chances at making noise in the postseason.
Despite having Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown and several other stars on the offensive end, the Eagles suffered a 24-15 loss to the Bears in Week 13 of the NFL season.

During the matchup against Chicago, Hurts dealt with immense pressure.
In the third quarter of the game, Hurts was laid down with a mean tackle from defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr.
When Dexter tackled Hurts, it exceeded the ruling of a clean play. Dexter was given a roughing the passer penalty after the play against Hurts in the third quarter.
It resulted in a 15-yard penalty in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The drive from Jalen Hurts resulted in a touchdown play with wide receiver AJ Brown.
While it was a success for Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles, Gervon Dexter might be receiving some unfortunate mail after Week 13.
A roughing the passer penalty can often times result in a fine from the NFL. According to the NFL’s gameday accountability service, a roughing the passer penalty would be a fine of around $17,000 if it’s the first offense from the player involved.
If it’s the second offense for the player, Gervon Dexter could be looking at a hefty fine reaching $23,186.
