The KC Current finished the regular season as the dominant league leaders and are now competing in the postseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs reacted to an achievement that both Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes are trying to reach.
The co-owners of KC Current are attentive to what their team achieves today in the NWSL playoffs, facing Gotham FC.
The winning team will qualify for the semifinals, where they will face Orlando Pride on November 15 or 16 (still to be determined).

KC Current ended the regular season as the absolute leader and by a difference, with 65 points after 26 games. Their closest pursuer was the Washington Spirit, with 44 points.
The last regular season match was against San Diego Wave, and Kansas City took the victory 2-1.
The last time the Current lost a match was on October 18 in their visit to Houston. They lost 0-1 against the Dash.
