The NFL world was hit with a shocking tragedy on Sunday morning as news broke that a fan passed away while attending Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Sunday morning.
Mosaic Life Care says that Jessica Tengen – a mother and lifelong Chiefs fan – died while attending the open portion of the team’s practice on Sunday morning. While there weren’t many details available, the healthcare organization did provide a statement on the devastating news.
“We are devastated to share that one of the Kansas City Chiefs beloved fans, Jessica Tangen of Riverside, Mo., passed away Sunday morning during practice at Chiefs Training Camp,” Mosaic said in its official statement according to KMBC.
Following her tragic death, Tangen’s family wanted everyone to know that she was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs for her entire life.
“Jessica’s family shared that she was a lifelong Chiefs fan and loved cheering for the team,” Tangen.
It was an absolutely horrible situation all around, and many in the NFL community took to social media to express their condolences and mourn the shocking loss.
