Today marks the 23rd time the Chiefs have taken at least 21-point lead in a game since Patrick Mahomes’ first full season as starter in 2018, most of any team over that span. Kansas City has gone on to win each of the previous 22 such games.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has targeted Kelce just two times in the first half, both completions leading to 7 yards. The Dolphins, similar to the Broncos last week, have often dedicated two defenders to Kelce, who entered Sunday’s game leading the Chiefs with 583 receiving yards.
Mahomes, though, has connected on eight passes to his collection of receivers — rookie Rashee Rice, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, Justin Watson and Mecole Hardman — for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Jerick McKinnon extends Chiefs’ lead
