The 12-time Grammy winner, 34, wore a custom red, black and gray plaid wrap skirt from Rails with asymmetrical pleaded detail by Rails to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the New England Patriots on Sunday.

“It’s no secret that Taylor loves her plaid skirts and has been the ultimate muse for this season’s schoolgirl trend,” Rails Vice President of Women’s Design, Linney Warren, tells PEOPLE. “When we were imagining custom pieces to create for her, we wanted to give her things that she could seamlessly incorporate into her wardrobe — we were thrilled when she chose to style it back to a vintage sweatshirt for the Chiefs game for a bit of nostalgia!”

Swift paired the skirt with a gray Chiefs sweatshirt and a crochet beanie handmade by Depop seller @kuttheknit featuring Kelce’s jersey number, 87, which swiftly sold out. She accessorized with a Mejuri garnet ring she’s been wearing frequently

While Swift’s skirt style is bespoke, Rails offers its similar “Prim Skirt” style in various colors and patterns that are a pretty close match. The skirt retails for $188 and the “Cardinal Pine Multi” colorway evokes Swift’s the most and is still available.

“We are always excited to see someone like Taylor wearing the Rails brand,” Rails founder and Creative Director Jeff Abrams shares with PEOPLE. “She has been a fan of our collection since we launched almost 15 years ago, and in many ways, we have each evolved our styles since the early days. We have expanded the collection from primarily a shirting offering, to a full range of dresses, skirts, outerwear, and denim that all speak to our signature soft fabrics, and an effortless approach to styling. Taylor is an incredible brand ambassador and we love how she paired our newest plaid skirt back to her favorite team sweatshirt for a full look.”

The schoolgirl-inspired look appears to be yet another nod to the ’90s on the singer’s part. Prior to her birthday, at the Chiefs game against the Bills on December 10, Swift wore a vintage ’90s red and black Chiefs sweatshirt from the local retailer Westside Storey. The garment cost $250 and there is only one available at the time of publication.
The “Fearless” singer watched this week’s game alongside her dad Scott Swift and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Brittany brought some custom flare to gameday, too. She wore a black turtle neck and skirt to Sunday’s game, finishing off the outfit with black thigh-high boots and an ivory-colored coat with the name “Mahomes” proudly displayed on the back.

The mom-of-two was looking quite chic, (and surprised) when Swift lifted her off her feet during Sunday’s game to celebrate a Chiefs touchdown.
