Taylor Swift’s red winter coat wins in Green Bay, even if Travis Kelce’s Chiefs didn’t

Taylor Swift made a showy entrance at the Kansas City Chiefs game Sunday in snowy Green Bay, wearing a long, cuddly winter coat as red as her iconic lip color. Swift, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, walked into Lambeau Field with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Lindsay Bell, tight end Blake Bell’s wife who curiously wore a red coat that looked like Swift’s.

(Bell is blond and statuesque like Swift and people joked online that the “Blank Space” singer had arrived with a body double.) Glamour noted that several Swifties found pictures of Brittany Mahomes wearing a similar, or possibly the same, coat at a Chiefs game in November 2022. She was pregnant at the time with their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who recently turned 1.

An eye-catching red coat and equally fetching boyfriend. X screengrab According to the fashion magazine, the $2,400 coat is by Stella McCartney. Swift wore it Sunday over an all-black outfit — turtleneck, pleated skirt and over-the-knee boots by Stuart Weitzman.

She iced the look with a gold Cartier necklace, reportedly worth more than $27,000, that Swifties quickly recognized. They first saw Swift wear it in May. “This now marks yet another occasion where Taylor is using her beloved vintage Cartier necklace as a standout jewelry piece to really pop against a black base,” noted the Taylor Swift Styled Instagram account. “I mean the more she wears it, the more the cost per wear goes down #girlmath,” one Swiftie wrote on the account. “Guys she’s worn it so many times it’s practically free now,” wrote another. One fan dubbed it Swift’s “almost 30k emotional support necklace.” Swift wasn’t the only Chiefs fan who needed some cheer after the game. The Chiefs lost 27-19.
