Taylor Swift sends Travis Kelce a critical warning

Taylor Swift seemed to send rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce a winking message with her choice of outfit Tuesday, stepping out in NYC wearing a vintage-inspired Daydreamer T-shirt ($88) printed with the title and promotional art for Shania Twain’s 1995 megahit “Any Man Of Mine.”

In the classic country tune, Twain details her dream man in depth, singing that her ideal mate must accept her flaws, treat her well and embrace her indecisiveness, among other key qualities.

Choice lyrics include, “I can be late for a date — that’s fine
/ But he’d better be on time” and, “When I cook him dinner and I burn it black / He’d better say, ‘Mmmm, I like it like that.’”

Considering Twain’s long been one of Swift’s musical heroes — the “Cruel Summer” singer gave her a sweet shoutout on TikTok in 2021, and invited her to the Eras Tour earlier this year — it’s of course possible she just wanted to show her fellow country-crossover sensation some love with her look.

But it wouldn’t be the first time Swift, a noted fan of dropping clues with her clothing, has referenced her budding relationship with Kelce via fashion.

In mid-September, mere days after speculation began swirling that the duo were dating, the pop phenom wore a four-figure Foundrae necklace suspended with an opal — Kelce’s birthstone.

She also rocked Kansas City Chiefs colors from head to toe while cheering on her new beau from his suite at Arrowhead Stadium late last month, pairing a team windbreaker with New Balance 550 sneakers ($110) in red, black and white.

The support seems to be mutual; while arriving at the same game, Kelce wore a painterly blue-and-white denim look from KidSuper Studios, which the brand swiftly renamed the 1989 Bedroom Painting set in the songstress’ honor.

After all, to paraphrase Twain, any man of hers better be proud of her.
