It’s been around a year since Taylor Swift announced her shocking break-up with long-time partner, Joe Alwyn, and now she’s taking her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to the exact same vacation spot: the Bahamas.

To be fair, it doesn’t seem like Kelce is the sort of guy to care too much about that thing, if he’s even aware that they went there in the past as they try to escape the media and public eye following a whirlwind period after they went public in September 2023.

But fans still spotted them in the islands just off Florida, and a photo by DeuxMoi published on March 18 showed them walking around without much clothing on as they enjoy the warm weather.

“They’re focused on rest and recuperation,” a source told Us Weekly. “And relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together.

“They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed.”

The source added they’re on a break “a break from the buzz of their careers” and they “intend on spending quality time together and with friends and family.”

De ja vu for Taylor Swift
It’s the same place that Swift went to with Alwyn in June 2022 and back then, similar photos of the Eras Tour singer were published by TMZ as they enjoyed their time in the Caribbean Sea.

But Travis Kelce doesn’t need to worry about Swift being nostalgic for her ex. It’s a completely different mood for the pop star as she isn’t missing him and is set to use him as inspiration for her next album, the Tortured Poets Department.

“I needed to make it. It was really a lifeline for me,” Swift told fans at a February Eras concert. “It sort of reminded me of why songwriting is something that actually gets me through life.

“I’ve never had an album where I’ve needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets.”
