Despite growing up in the Philadelphia area and being a fan of it’s NFL team, the Eagles, Taylor Swift will have her music banned from a local radio station this weekend. Swift could be in attendance at the game on Monday night when the Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs – while watching her partner Travis Kelce face his elder brother Jason.

Swift’s parents are set to be at the game alongside the Kelce parents, with Scott Swift (Taylor’s father) being a big Eagles fan himself. And despite the Swift family’s love for the Eagles, Taylor has been converted to a Chiefs fan due to her new relationship.

As a result, Q102 radio is set to ban her music in the run-up to the game. Speaking on CBS News Philadelphia, a host from Q102 known as Nugget, said: “Q102 is punting Taylor Swift from the radio station for the entire weekend because while Q102 loves Taylor Swift, we can’t get enough of her, this weekend it’s really important we show our support for the Birds.”

Swift has been at four Chiefs games over the past two months since making her relationship with the NFL star public, and she could be set to travel over 12 hours on by airplane to make it to Kansas City.

The pop superstar, 33, is currently touring in Brazil, where she was due to take the stage in Rio de Janiero on both Saturday and Sunday night. However, a heatwave has seen Saturday night’s show canceled.

It appears that show could be rescheduled for Monday. If that is the final decision, then she would not be able to make it back to the United States in time for the game.

Should Swift find a way to attend, she will be with her parents, who are reportedly set to spend time with Travis’ mom and dad for the first time.

The Kelce parents, Ed and Donna, are regular attendees at their sons’ games, with them set to see both Travis and Jason play against one another in a rematch of the Super Bowl.
