A spokesperson for Taylor Swift provided further context, indicating that their camp had faced threats from multiple individuals following the incident.

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command have conducted an investigation following a report of an assault at Neutral Bay Wharf about 2.30am on Tuesday 27 February 2024,” an NSW Police Force spokesperson told Billboard.

“There will be no further police action.”

Putting accusations behind him
With no charges looming, Scott Swift can now move forward from the incident. The resolution allows him to put the allegations behind him and focus on other aspects of his life.

“Police have been told a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf about 2:30 a.m. before leaving the location,” police said at the time.

“The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment.”

The swift conclusion of the matter brings relief to both the Swift family, Travis Kelce, and their supporters, allowing them to focus on the remainder of the tour and beyond without the cloud of legal proceedings hanging over them.
