During an interview with Travis Kelce, NFL+ host Andrew Siciliano tried to get some more info out of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end about his rumored relationship with Taylor Swift. In particular, the interviewer was curious about Kelce admitting he tried to get his number to Swift on a friendship bracelet while she was in Kansas City for her Eras Tour. Kelce used all his skills to divert the conversation.

Siciliano began by asking, “The only thing anyone really wants to talk about is Taylor Swift. Did you really have your phone number ready on a friendship bracelet to give to Taylor?”

Travis replied, “I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it. And you know what, it is what it is. I’m not gonna talk about my personal life…I know what you writers wanna hear, and you wanna hear more about that and I’m not gonna give you anything.”

Unswayed, Siciliano pressed, “Has she reached out?”

“And that’s gonna wrap it up here,” Kelce responded.

Earlier this week, a source told ET that there is nothing official going on between Kelce and Swift, though they are spending time together.

“Travis has been into Taylor for a while and definitely has a crush on her,” the insider said. “He is a simple guy that is very funny, charismatic, chill, and loves playing football.”

The bracelet story was shared in July on Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. The NFL star told his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, about attending Swift’s show at Arrowhead Stadium.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he began. “So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

Kelce explained, “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

He added, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was among the family and friends who hung out with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during their viral night out.

And during a press conference on Wednesday, Mahomes, 28, was asked if he met Swift, 33, during the post-game celebrations after the Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

“Yeah, I met her,” Mahomes told reporters. “She’s really cool, good people.”

The superstar quarterback (and one of Kelce’s best friends) then went on to reiterate the tight end’s plans to keep the rumored romance private.

“But like Trav said, man, I’m going to let them have their privacy and just keep it moving,” Mahomes added, referring to Kelce’s comments on Wednesday about the future of his and Swift’s relationship.

Immediately following the game, Mahomes said he hadn’t met her yet but had been informed “at the last minute” by Kelce that she’d be in attendance before the game kicked off.

“There’s things with Trav where he kind of just says it and you don’t know if it’s true or not,” the Chiefs quarterback said Sunday, according to KCTV5’s Jared Koller. “It was like Friday and he was just like, ‘Oh yeah, I think she’s coming to the game.’ ”

Kelce talked about his night with Swift for the first time Wednesday in a new episode of his weekly podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, saying, “I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend.”

“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Travis said as he talked to his brother and co-host, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, about how he felt having the singer in his suite during the “exciting game.”

“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family. She looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in great light,” he said, adding that the cherry on top was that “the day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course,” noting their 31-point win over the Chicago Bears.

Of seeing Swift watch the game alongside his mom, Donna Kelce, Travis said, “To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there — that s— was absolutely hysterical and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

The Chiefs tight end also shared more about the events that took place after the game, as he and Swift were spotted driving away from Arrowhead Stadium in his 1970 Chevelle 408 Stroker convertible.

“And then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end,” he said, seemingly a nod to a song off Swift’s Reputation. “Took my Chevelle to the game. Shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage.”
