Travis and his brother Jason Kelce discussed their recent trip to New York City, including an appearance on Saturday Night Live, and attending the afterparty.
Jason asked about a particular moment when Travis was seen placing his hand on a security guard’s back while out with Taylor.
When Jason asked if he got any “pushback” about helping Taylor in and out of the car and using his arm to do so, Travis declined.
“I didn’t push him, I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him,” he said about the security guard. “If I would have pushed him he probably would have turned around and tased me.”
He added about the security: “They’re great, they’re great, they’re good people.”
He also talked about the fans who noticed the way he held Taylor‘s hand.
“They caught me with some weird hand-holding poses there. t was crazy.”
“Have you had to enact any security of your own? Do you feel like you’re a security guard when you are with Taylor?” Jason asked.
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m a man in the situation. I’m protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess,” Travis added.
“I didn’t know what the skit was, like which skits were coming up and I’m pretty sure it was just ironic they were doing a skit on Swiftmania, I thought it was hilarious when they asked me to be a part of it, I was like ‘Man I’d be honored.’”
Jason noted: You guys got out of the house even later by going to the Saturday Night Live after-party, which, for those of you that don’t know, it goes all night.”
“It was fun catching up with everybody on SNL, man. I miss those guys, guys and girls, I should say. Hopefully, I win it or Jason wins it, and we find ourselves back,” Travis explained.
Taylor was in attendance at the Kansas City Chiefs versus Denver Broncos game, reconnecting with Travis‘ mother, Donna Kelce, as well as his father, Ed Kelce.
Travis jokingly said: “Yeah, Taylor talking to Dad, you already know, you know Dad like I know Dad, this is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible, I felt terrible for Taylor.”
He went on to clarify: “Our dad is the best dad in the world; he is a great converser or conversator, however, you want to put it. It’s where Jason gets his storytelling.”
Travis also shared an endearing tidbit, saying, “You can see in this picture, he’s just pumping her up, he started listening to her music more, he started doing some stuff.”
