Swift— who has been dating Ed’s son, Travis, for over a year — turns 35 on Friday, Dec. 13.

Ed explained that buying a gift for Taylor is similar to buying one for his sons, Travis and Jason: there’s nothing they want that they don’t already have. So, instead of focusing on the price tag, Ed believes the best gift is something that will tweak the strings of her heart.
