Gisele Bundchen has failed to hold back the tears during a lecture just a few days after her former husband, Tom Brady, discussed co-parenting in the press.
The Brazilian supermodel was speaking during a lecture at the VTEX event in Sao Paulo on Monday. She seemed to be overcome with emotion whilst she was on the stage although it is not very clear what caused her to cry.
Bundchen was at the event with VTEX president and co-founder Mariano Gomide. The press release said she was there discuss her “challenges to conquer the world, her job in defense of nature and her journey of example in entrepreneurship.”
It was a surprise appearance and it came just a few days after Brady had publicly opened up about the co-parenting that they are doing with Benjamin and Vivian Lake, 13 and 10 respectively.
Talking about their summer plans, Brady said: “We’re going to Disneyland tomorrow to celebrate because it’s the last day of school.” “Then they’re going with their mom for a couple of weeks to Brazil,” Brady, 45, continued.
Bundchen’s speech
Whilst on stage, Bundchen also talked about her children and she said: “As a mother, I want to leave a better world for my children, so there will always be something bigger. When I started modeling aged 14, I wanted my parents to be proud.”
The model added: ” Anything is possible when we believe, and I am no different from you. I am simply a person who believed. I believe in you having the courage to face any challenge and the discipline to stay focused… no matter what challenge comes your way, see it as an opportunity to grow.”
