Kay and Tay Dudley’s daughter, Ellie, has as much personality as they do. The TikTok couple, who wed in 2016, rose to fame after they began posting about their relationship on social media in 2022. Since then, they’ve shared comedic insight into their marriage and most recently, their journey as new parents.

Kay documented her entire pregnancy on her and Tay’s joint social media accounts, as well as Ellie’s birth. The content creators welcomed their first child together, whose full name is Elliott “Ellie” Mae, in November 2023. (Kay also has an older daughter from a previous relationship.)

In the following months, the pair have shared her major milestones and sweet moments, giving their millions of followers frequent glimpses into their growing family.

Kay and Tay announced they were expecting their first child together in March 2023, with Kay posting a video of the moment she learned she was pregnant on TikTok. “This gave me a [rollercoaster] of emotions 😭,” she captioned it.

The couple continued to document the pregnancy for the next eight months, sharing everything from the sex reveal and Kay’s pregnancy cravings to designing Ellie’s nursery. Kay and Tay welcomed their daughter Elliott “Ellie” Mae Dudley on Nov. 19, 2023.

A few days later, they introduced her to their followers and explained how they chose her name. “Tay wanted her to have a gender neutral name like him!” the pair captioned a clip on Instagram. “I wanted her to have a cute name as a baby, but I know that she isn’t a baby forever and so looked for a name that would be great for all stages of her life!”

Although the couple had been trying to conceive for several months, they were surprised when Kay discovered she was pregnant with Ellie. During an interview on The Unplanned Podcast in January 2024, Tay revealed that he wasn’t sure if he could have children.

“I had found out in the military that I couldn’t have kids … they were basically like: ‘It will be really hard or won’t happen,’ ” the Air Force veteran recalled. Tay did not disclose the medical reason for this diagnosis but noted that he and Kay tempered their expectations of getting pregnant. Kay added that finding out she was pregnant was “so shocking.”
