Jennifer Lopez continues to hit back at Ben Affleck after their two-year marriage collapsed by posting a cryptic Instagram message suggesting the 55-year-old has already moved on from her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Lopez filed her divorce papers on August 20, on their anniversary, after revealing the pair had been living apart since April at the latest as Affleck moved out of their home and into a secluded mansion, whilst she began spending more time on the East Coast of the USA. But known for her strong personality and ability to recover from set-backs, the On The Floor singer already seems as though she’s recovered from the implosion of her latest relationship through a series of Instagram posts.
There, she showed herself surrounded by her loved ones such as her 16-year-old children and her sister on August 31, looking very glam as she potentially shows Jennifer Lopez star just what he’s losing out on.
She also might have sent some subtle messages to him, such as, “Everything is unfolding in divine order,” or, “She’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace,” to tell Affleck that she really doesn’t care if he’s out of her life.
Lopez also captioned the post, “Oh, it was a summer,” her first single summer since 2020, when she hooked up with the 52-year-old once again 20 years on from their first attempt at love together.
Lopez included a lot of photos in the album that also showed off her good looks and showed off her body too, including a mirror selfie in a bathing suit that flexed her rear to fans whilst others revealed her chest in bikinis and dresses.
Lopez began her relationship with Affleck again in 2020 and the pair married in 2022 in what initially appeared to be a story of true love persevering but it’s all turned to ash just four years on in 2024. Reports of arguing surrounding their approaches to the media and paparazzi as well as differences in their schedules restricting their time together has seen Lopez file for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences on August 20, 2024, with the pair splitting up on April 26.
