CONTROVERSY: Sofia Vergara Shares Sizzling Bikini Throwback After Hinting She’s ‘Single’ Again: The 52-year-old shared a photo from her swimsuit modeling

It seems as though Sofia Vergara may be newly back on the market, after hinting that she and her boyfriend of one year, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, may have split up. And what better way to celebrate than with a throwback thirst trap.

On Thursday, the 52-year-old Modern Family star posted a photo to Instagram taken back in the ’90s when she was working as a swimsuit model in Florida. “TBT Miami,” Vergara captioned the image, in which she appears in a pale green string bikini with blonde hair.

The image was posted the same day that Us Weekly published an interview with Vergara suggesting that she and Saliman may have parted ways. The couple began dating in October 2023 and took their relationship Instagram official back in April.

When asked by the publication whether she still feels that New York City is the best place to date, as she apparently claimed earlier this year, Vergara played it coy about her relationship status. “Actually, I was talking yesterday about it because now I’m single so … kind of single,” she said with a laugh.

“But I feel like there’s a more diverse group of people in New York than in Los Angeles because most of the people are in the entertainment business,” she continued. “Here, you have people from all over the world—architects, writers, actors, businesspeople.”

Vergara was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello, whom she wed in November 2015 after six months of dating. However, after nearly eight years of marriage, the couple announced last July that they were separating and the divorce was finalized in early 2024.
