After the rumors that went on for a number of weeks back in 2022 that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had retained lawyers and were gearing up for a divorce after months of speculation that the couple’s marriage was on shaky ground, we now know that the speculation turned out to be true.

Tom opens up about the impact his career has had on his marriage during an interview with Howard Stern, saying that Giselle has felt he wasn’t doing his “part for the family” and “felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house. She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage. So I needed to make a change in that. Her point was, ‘Well, yeah, of course this works for you. It all works for you. But it doesn’t work for me.’”

Tom is excused from practicing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head coach Todd Bowles says he’s dealing with “some personal things.”
“Tom has been excused today,” Todd explains. “He’ll be taking…he’ll be back somewhere around after Tennessee. He’s going to deal with some personal things.”
