Big Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Announcement Made on Thursday
Kelce has been nominated for Favorite Male Sports Star, along with Jayson Tatum, Jalen Hurts, LeBron James, Shohei Ohtani, Stephen Curry, Lionel Messi and his Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Swift has been nominated for Favorite Female Artist, alongside Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and SZA.
She also received a nomination for Favorite Song for her track “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
She’ll face tough competition in that category. Other nominated songs including Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble Up,” The Weeknd’s “Cry For Me,” Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra,” Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste.”
On Wednesday, Taylor Swift was honored at the BMI Pop Awards.
She received the Songwriter of the Year award and had seven songs honored for finishing among the 50 Most-Performed Songs of the Year.
She has also been nominated in six categories at the upcoming AMAs, set to take place on May 26.
While it remains unclear whether she will attend, fans have begun to speculate that a major announcement could be coming soon, especially since she has yet to release any new music in 2025.
