Taylor Swift’s date night necklace sent this small business’ website traffic soaring
Two small business owners checked a “Wi$h Li$t” item off that they never saw coming when Taylor Swift wore one of their diamond necklaces on a date night with fiancé Travis Kelce.
On Nov. 5, the newly engaged couple walked hand-in-hand in New York City. Paparazzi caught photos of them outside of The Polo Bar, dressed in coordinated black-and-gray looks. Swift wore an off-the-shoulder Alaïa top and Stella McCartney wool trousers, but it was her jewelry that carried the sentimental sparkle, a diamond lock necklace from Audry Rose.
The boutique fine-jewelry brand was founded by husband and wife team Jaclyn and Kevin Elbaum, who launched the company 10 years ago.
“She could have hit me up and been like, ‘Can I have that necklace for free?’ I would have been like, ‘F*** yeah, you’re Taylor Swift,'” Jaclyn Elbaum told the USA TODAY Network over Zoom. “The fact that she just bought it and then wore it is just really cool.”

“This was one of the pieces that was really special to me,” Jaclyn said of the lock necklace. “I sat with the jeweler for five hours so he could carve it exactly the way I wanted. The chain was inspired by an antique watch chain. It’s not like a regular cable chain you can find all over.”
