The Mahomes family is full of athletes, and early on, they have engaged Sterling and her little brother Bronze with playing countless sports. One of their favorites is golf, and although the Mahomeses feature a golf course at their Kansas City mansion for practice, Sterling’s swing still needs some work.

In the video posted by her mom Brittany on Instagram, Sterling misses the ball on her first attempt, and then whips her head around and delivers a line right out of Patrick’s playbook.”That was a practice swing,” she said, making an adorable excuse. She had to repeat the same comment again before making contact on her third try, thanks to some helpful tips from Brittany.
