EXCLUSIVE: WNBA star Angel Reese makes her NFL allegiance clear during Q&A on social media long before she was….full details
Long before she was a WNBA star and a Vogue cover girl, Angel Reese attended Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she earned McDonald’s All-American honors in 2020 and was ranked the number two player in her class by ESPN.
Reese earned All-Anerican honors at the Univeristy of Maryland and LSU and a national title with the Tigers before Reese was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky.
Now a WNBA star and universal icon, Reese is one of the biggest stars in sports and recently made her NFL allegiance known during a brief question-and-answer session on Twitter.
Asked to choose between the Ravens or Commanders, Reese clarified who she was rolling with.
Born and raised in Baltimore County, it was an obvious answer for Reese, who had no known allegiance to Washington D.C.
The DMV is the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, but Baltimore residents don’t proclaim to be part of the DMV, and Commanders fans shouldn’t be upset by her allegiance.
